The Secret Operations in Laos
The war the world was not meant to see
classifiedA secret US Air Force listening and guidance station perched on a peak in neutral Laos, LS-85 directed the bombing of North Vietnam until it was overrun in 1968. Air America masked the CIA's clandestine intervention there, leaving Laos the most heavily bombed country in history per head of population.
